Bryan and Megan said, "I do," after 519 days of engagement and 1,021 days of dating. Both are graduates of Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. These two souls have truly found their mate, and everyone who attended their wedding day knew it. Bryan’s enthusiastic energy is contagious. Megan’s gentle and laid back demeanor is inviting. Together they compliment and support one another in a most beautiful way.

Lingrow Farm in Leechburg, PA gave Bryan and Megan the modern, rustic charm that suited their personalities. The atmosphere was relaxed, refreshing, and rich with the love of family and friends.

I say that and I really mean it, because I am family and I am a friend on this special day. Bryan is my baby brother. Megan, who is now my sister (eek!), became my friend as she agreed time and time again to photograph weddings by my side. Not only did we gain Megan, but we now have the joy of knowing the whole Daugherty family. My baby girl (okay, she’s two and a half) was their flower girl. When I looked through my lens, I saw familiar faces everywhere. I stopped counting how many times I nearly allowed myself to bawl like a baby!

I was beyond happy to photograph my brother’s wedding - to document such a great day for our families. Thank you, thank you for giving me the honor. Love, your big sister.

Autumn Morning on Lingrow Farm

Early morning of October 1 at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, was chilly and crisp. Frost coated the grass and ceremony benches, but don't underestimate the warmth of October sunlight in western PA. A beautiful fall day was about to unfold.

Wedding Day Preparations - The Girls

Matron of Honor, Cayce, carefully prepares Megan's robe first thing in the morning. Refreshing mimosas accompanied the waffles and coffee for breakfast. Megan and all her bridesmaids spent the night before the wedding at the farm house located on Lingrow Farm's property. This spacious, charming, and well-equipped space gave all the girls a good night's sleep and easy start to wedding day festivities.

The Dress

Flower girl, Reagan, joined the bride and matron of honor upstairs as the wedding dress was donned and carefully buttoned by Megan's mother.

Dearest Friends

Most of these ladies have known each other since grade school, and easily welcomed bridesmaid Bethany, Megan's college bestie, into their loving friendship. This brief, but warm, embrace says it all. Megan stretched out her arms, and as if they were all of one mind, they all came together.

Love Passed On

Megan's engagement ring once belonged to her mother, who kept it after receiving a new ring from Megan's father. This simple, elegant setting has always rested gracefully on Megan's hand, probably because of all the past, present, and future love it represents. Bryan opted for a matching gold band for his own hand,

Wedding Day Preparations - The Men

The men spent the evening before the wedding at the bride's aunt and uncle's house just 15 minutes from Lingrow Farm. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Deb also hosted a wonderful rehearsal lunch: backyard camp fire, dirt bikes, fishing poles, and delectable food by the groom's mother.
